Videojet Launches High-Performance CO2 Laser Marking Systems for Manufacturers

The new 3350 and 3350 Smart Focus 30-Watt CO2 laser marking systems.

Videojet Technologies, a global leader in coding, marking, and printing solutions, has introduced the Videojet 3350 and Videojet 3350 Smart Focus CO2 laser marking systems to meet manufacturers’ demands for high-performance solutions. These lasers are designed for the food, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, packaging, and extrusion industries, offering the ability to mark complex codes at high speeds. With virtually unlimited font, code, and graphic options, they provide flexibility and versatility.

For manufacturers working with varying product sizes and frequent changeovers, the Videojet 3350 laser features a flexible marking head with 32 standard beam delivery options. The Videojet 3350 Smart Focus laser goes a step further, allowing rotation from 0° to 90° without additional parts.

The advanced 3350 Smart Focus laser incorporates automatic focusing and dynamic marking capabilities, enabling easy product changeovers without moving the laser. This reduces operator involvement, improves mark quality, and increases uptime.

Letizia Caselle, Business Unit Director for Videojet, highlighted the need for high-performance lasers to meet increasing production requirements. The 3350 CO2 Smart Focus laser system allows users to mark different-sized products or multiple levels on the same product without adjustments, resulting in higher uptime and throughput.

Both lasers offer high-speed marking capabilities of up to 2,000 characters per second. The high-resolution marking head ensures permanent codes for product traceability and anti-counterfeiting.

The 3350 series lasers provide one of the industry’s largest marking areas with a variety of lenses. Multiple marking heads and wavelengths enable coding on various materials such as plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, and coated metals.

With built-in Wi-Fi and cellular connections, the laser systems support Industry 4.0 goals. They minimize IT workload, reduce connection costs, and provide easy software updates and access to production information.

Letizia Caselle emphasized the simplicity and security of the integrated Wi-Fi and cellular connections, offering powerful and user-friendly marking solutions.

A remote interface control and optional VideojetConnect™ Remote Service enable easy access and monitoring of laser status, troubleshooting, and long-term performance improvement.
