Vision Foods & Packaging, a Pakistan-based folding carton and offset packaging converter, has expanded converting capacity at its 142,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore, with the installation of BOBST NOVACUT 106 E die-cutters and a NOVAFOLD 80 A2 folder-gluer.
The investment is intended to support rising customer demand, shorter lead times and production consistency as the company develops its domestic business and considers future export market growth, amid rising raw material, fuel and energy costs.
Established in 2016 by Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Anjum, Chairman of SM Foods Group, Vision Foods & Packaging began as a greenfield project providing backward integration for the group’s packaging requirements. It has since expanded to serve external customers, with particular expertise in bakery, confectionery and chocolate packaging.
Its integrated operations cover pre-press, plate-making, printing, die-cutting and gluing. The existing production base also includes printing and die-cutting machines, an automatic hot foil stamping machine and folder-gluers.

BOBST engineers supported the installation and provided operator training. “We have received comprehensive training from BOBST engineers, who came for the machine installation and training,” Iqbal said.
The company expects the additional converting capacity to improve productivity and operational efficiency while supporting expansion. Iqbal added: “We expect to gain more market share with the reliable equipment we have purchased from BOBST.”
The investment extends a technology relationship between Vision Foods & Packaging and BOBST spanning more than a decade.
