W&H to showcase latest printing innovations at Drupa 2024 & In-house Expo

 

Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H), a leading machine manufacturer, is set to showcase its latest developments and innovations in printing technology for the flexible packaging industry at drupa 2024 in Düsseldorf, Germany, and at an In-house EXPO at its company headquarters in Lengerich.

Under the slogan “Get in the Loop – Discover. Connect. Innovate.,” the company aims to address the challenges facing the package printing market. Dr. Sascha Witt, W&H’s Chief Sales Officer, expressed the significance of this opportunity: “For the first time in eight years, we will have the opportunity to present our machine and product innovations live to our customers and partners at drupa.”

 

The focus at the W&H booth (Hall 15, Booth A51) will be on live machine demonstrations, with a particular highlight being the world premiere in flexo printing, as announced by Dr. Falco Paepenmüller, W&H CEO. Additionally, visitors will have the chance to witness state-of-the-art rotogravure printing on a HELIOSTAR II print station, showcasing sustainable practices such as energy-efficient drying.

 

Automation and digital systems aimed at enhancing efficiency will also be showcased. W&H has continuously developed its EASY family of inspection and assistance systems, and advancements in this area will be demonstrated to visitors.

 

Visitors will explore cutting-edge printing innovations at W&H’s showcase during Drupa 2024 and the In-house Expo.

 

In parallel with drupa, W&H will host an In-house EXPO at its Technology Center in Lengerich. This event will feature more than 10 live machine demonstrations covering printing, extrusion, and converting processes for both paper and plastic.

 

The showcase will include the entire W&H portfolio of flexo and gravure presses, offering insights into their capabilities and applications. Additionally, converters and extruders will have the opportunity to explore various machines and automation systems, such as the VAREX II blown film line and the FILMEX II cast film line, presented by W&H experts.

 

Co-exhibitor GARANT Maschinen will also participate in the In-house EXPO, demonstrating innovative paper packaging solutions at their Technology Center. Managing Director Torsten Berding highlighted the environmentally friendly aspects of their showcased e-commerce mailer bag machine, the MATADOR e.Bag.
