“drupa next age (dna)” highlights innovation from young talent and start-ups

dna, a platform for newcomers, young talents, start-ups, and established companies to network.

The upcoming drupa 2024 will feature a special show called drupa next age (dna), focusing on showcasing the innovative technologies from newcomers and young talents in the print and packaging sectors. The “drupa dna Deep Dive” interview series offers a glimpse into this unique feature.

For many young companies, establishing their groundbreaking solutions in the market with limited budgets can be challenging. drupa has created a platform, drupa next age (dna), specifically for newcomers, young talents, start-ups, and established companies to network, find collaboration partners, and share innovative business ideas on an equal footing. This platform offers participants the opportunity to present themselves to an international expert audience for the first time.

Partnering with the International Circle of Educational Institutes for Graphic Media Technology and Management, the Stuttgart Media University will provide a platform for alumni, students, and trainees to connect with potential employers, exchange ideas, and explore draft concepts and best cases.

The dna exhibition area in Hall 7.0 will serve as a global platform for discussions on technologies, tools, and industry advancements, offering unique opportunities for printing technologies across the value chain. The integrated dna stage will feature presentations, panel discussions, and interviews, providing an ideal forum for newcomers to showcase new business models, product solutions, and technologies to potential investors.

Two industry experts, Deborah Corn and Frank Tueckmantel, will support drupa in organizing and moderating the trend forum for cross-sectional technologies.

Additionally, drupa next age will feature two exhibitions: one showcasing paper-based artworks created by students from the Academy for Fashion & Design in Düsseldorf on the theme of “Anamorphosis,” and another displaying the creative results of the contest “Future of the Print Industry” organized in collaboration with the vocational college “Fritz-Henßler-Berufskolleg Dortmund” (FHBK).

The “drupa dna Deep Dive Interviews,” featuring participants like Anastasios E. Politis, Gunter Huebner, Dominic Harris, Aous Mansour, Dr. Samir Husni, Christoph Clermont, Christoph Schacht, Andrea Abeln, Thomas Schnettler, Kit Tomshøj, and Kasper Tomshøj, are already available online, providing insights into what to expect at drupa next age.
