On the opening day of the pre-drupa international media conference in Duesseldorf, Germany, Konica Minolta revealed its ambitious plans to showcase 20 European premieres.

Highlights of Konica Minolta’s presence at drupa include fully automated production lines driven by Artificial Intelligence, a cutting-edge webshop, and innovative use of robotics and software solutions. The company’s efforts align with the shift from analog to digital printing, especially in print-for-profit applications like labels and packaging.

Additionally, Konica Minolta has revealed details about its next-generation High-Speed UV Inkjet Press, the AccurioJet 60000. This printer, part of the KM-1 family, emphasizes productivity and customer value, boasting exceptional operational efficiency and image quality.

Konica Minolta will showcase unique set-up configurations and new applications, demonstrating benefits for commercial printers, converters, brand owners, design, and advertising agencies. The company will highlight how separate processes such as foiling, varnishing, printing, folding, and drying can be combined into a single integrated production run.

In the realm of variable data printing, Konica Minolta will demonstrate Programmatic Printing, showcasing how AI-generated content can be used to create highly targeted materials based on basic information such as name, age range, and location.

To maximize its impact, Konica Minolta will collaborate with strategic partners like MGI Digital Printing Systems and Industrial Inkjet Ltd (IIJ). The company’s commitment to sustainability will be evident at drupa, with a focus on using recycled paper for print-on-demand materials.

The showcase at drupa will feature over 20 European premieres, highlighting Konica Minolta’s dedication to digital transformation and sustainability in the printing industry.
