L&Z Integrated Farms refreshes packaging for yoghurt range in Nigeria

Nigeria’s L&Z Integrated Farms has refreshed the packaging for its Greek yoghurt and Fura Da Nono ranges, introducing revised graphics and a more consistent visual identity across the dairy products.

The redesign covers L&Z’s sweetened and unsweetened Greek yoghurt and its Fura Da Nono, a traditional West African dairy product combining yoghurt and millet grains. L&Z announced the packaging update in August, describing the new presentation as bolder, cleaner and more modern.

The company’s product information lists its Greek yoghurt in 1-litre and 500ml formats, while Fura Da Nono is available in a 500ml format.

From a packaging perspective, the change centres on the packs’ external visual presentation rather than a disclosed change to their structural format. Images accompanying the launch show an updated graphic system intended to create stronger consistency across the product family while differentiating the individual dairy variants.

The redesigned packs continue to carry key product identifiers, including the L&Z branding, product name and variant information, while using the available front-of-pack area to establish the refreshed identity at retail.

L&Z has not disclosed changes to the packaging substrate, pack weight, closure, barrier structure, decoration or printing technology. It has also not identified the packaging converter, printer or material supplier involved. No specific recycled-content, material-reduction or recyclability claims have been announced in connection with the redesign.

The packaging refresh forms part of L&Z’s retail presentation for its locally produced dairy portfolio. The company operates an integrated dairy value chain in Nigeria, covering milk production through processing, packaging and distribution.

For L&Z, the project updates the shelf-facing presentation of established dairy products while maintaining their existing positioning and product formats.
