Nestlé Nigeria Expands Nutritional Range with Nido Milk & Soya Instant Powder Mix

 

 

Nestlé, has introduced Nido Milk & Soya Instant Powder Mix to the Nigerian market.

 

Nestlé, a household name in the world of nutrition, has introduced its latest offering to the Nigerian market: Nido Milk & Soya Instant Powder Mix. This new product brings together the goodness of milk and soya, fortified with iron, to offer consumers an affordable, delectable, and nutritious milk and plant-based addition for beverages and cereals.

Nido Milk & Soya Instant Powder Mix was developed by local experts at Nestlé’s R&D Center in Abidjan.

 

For more than six decades, Nestlé has played a vital role in the daily nutrition of countless Nigerian households. Through consistent research and development efforts, Nestlé has harnessed the potential of food to improve the well-being of individuals and families.

Ifeanyi Orabuche, the Category & Marketing Manager for Dairy at Nestlé, explained, “Nido Milk & Soya represents our inaugural venture into an affordable fortified dairy and plant blend in the Nigerian market. This unique blend of milk and soya is a source of iron and provides essential nutrients such as protein, calcium, vitamin C, and dietary fiber that support digestion. Nido Milk & Soya joins our lineup of fortified products, aimed at addressing the prevalent issue of micronutrient deficiencies, especially iron, in the country.”

 

According to the Journal of Public Health in Africa, the prevalence of anemia among school-age children in Nigeria is 71%, and among women, it stands at 47.3%.

Nido Milk & Soya Instant Powder Mix was developed by local experts at Nestlé’s R&D Center in Abidjan and is produced within Nigeria using 100% locally sourced soybeans. This product underscores Nestlé’s commitment to innovating and refreshing its product offerings to meet the rising consumer demand for affordable nutrition choices that also generate societal value.
